Privacy Policy
The short version
- You don’t need an account to play BLOQIVA.
- Your scores, saved game and settings are stored on your device.
- We don’t sell your personal information.
- Questions? Email [CONTACT EMAIL].
1. Who we are
BLOQIVA is developed and published by [DEVELOPER / COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS] (“we”, “us”). We are the controller of any personal data processed through the app, as described in this policy.
2. What information we collect
Information stored only on your device
To make the game work, BLOQIVA saves the following on your phone or tablet. It is not sent to us:
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Best score and game statistics | To show your best score and stats |
| Your current game in progress | So you can continue where you left off |
| Settings (sound, music, haptics, shape marks, reduce motion) | To remember your preferences |
This data stays on your device. If you delete the app, it is deleted too.
Information we don’t collect
We don’t ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location, and we don’t require you to create an account.
If you contact us
If you email us for support, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message (for example, your device model or a screenshot). We use it only to answer you.
If the app includes any analytics, crash reporting or advertising SDK, list each one here with what it collects, why, and a link to its privacy policy. Example: “We use [SERVICE NAME] to collect anonymous crash reports (device model, OS version, app version and the error that occurred) so we can fix bugs. Privacy policy: [LINK].” If the app uses none, delete this box. Your App Store “App Privacy” answers must match this section.
3. How we use information
- To run the game and remember your progress and settings (on your device).
- To answer support requests you send us.
- To keep the app working and secure, and to meet legal obligations.
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, our legal bases are: performance of our agreement with you (providing the game), our legitimate interests (support, fixing problems, keeping the app secure), and legal obligation where relevant.
4. Sharing
We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We may share information only:
- with service providers who help us run the app or provide support, under contracts that protect your data;
- when required by law, or to protect our rights, our users or the public;
- as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
Apple and Google handle app downloads and any purchases under their own privacy policies.
5. How long we keep information
Game data stays on your device until you delete the app or its data. Support emails are kept for as long as needed to resolve your request, and then for up to [24 MONTHS] unless we have a legal reason to keep them longer.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, including in the EU, the UK and US states such as California, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Because game data is stored on your device, you can delete it at any time by deleting the app. To exercise any right over data we hold (such as support emails), email [CONTACT EMAIL]. We won’t treat you differently for exercising your rights. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. In Portugal, that is the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
7. Children
BLOQIVA is a casual game suitable for a general audience, but it is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security and international transfers
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold. If information is transferred outside your country (for example, to a service provider), we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes, for example if we add online features. We’ll change the effective date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or on this page.
